☀️ Summer in the Village is HERE with community events happening throughout the summer☀️
We’re delighted to announce the launch of our "Summer in the Village" series of events, inviting people to come together and enjoy Osborne Village all summer long. Things are kicking off on July 1st, with a celebration of Canada's multiculturalism in the heart of Osborne Village. With music curated by Folklorama, we’re presenting a vibrant lineup of music, dance, crafts, fashion shows, and more!
The Summer in the Village Block Party will take place on July 1st from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM across three stages: the Bell Tower Stage, the Gas Station Arts Centre Stage and Fête Jockey's Musical Pedicab.
The Gas Station Arts Centre will feature an exciting lineup of events, including:

12:10-12:15PM: Indigenous Blessing by Barb Nepinak
12:30-1:15PM: Folklorama presents Winnipeg Steel Orchestra
1:15-1:30PM: Fashion show from local boutique The Overflow
1:30-2:30PM: Family Dance Party with DJ JPQ
2:30-3:00PM: Little Monsters Open Dance Class
3:10-3:25PM: Fashion show from local boutique The Overflow
3:30-4:00PM: Dirty Catfish Brass Band
In Case of Rain: entertainment will be at the lobby of the Gas Station Arts Centre.
The Belltower stage will host an array of captivating performances showcasing the rich tapestry of Caribbean, Latin, West African, and Reggae styles including:

To enhance the festivities and ensure you can easily get around, Fête Jockey's Musical Pedicab will be serving as a stage, and the Village's "Taxi Service," shuttling between stages so you can fully enjoy the diverse range of performances. Set times are approximate for the Pedicab stage:

In addition to the July 1st Block Party, we’ve planned a series of summer-long programs including:
Free 30-minute community workouts at the Bell Tower every Friday at noon, supported by Brickhouse Gym.
Live music at the Bell Tower returns on Thursday evenings in August, featuring diverse local talent.
