Jonel Fabro (Joe Fresh) will be leading the community along to a hip hop dance workshop! Whether you're just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills, this open level class will focus on musicality, freestyle and foundation, technique, and movement conditioning. Free and open to all ages.
Studio 393, GAP's youth drop-in studio, is located in Portage Place Shopping Centre. We offer free hip hop programming for youth aged 12-29, including hip hop dance, breakdance, djing, and recording.

Created in collaboration with dancers Justine Erickson, Brooke Hess, and Jace Hodges, this work blends set choreography with improvisation to create something responsive, playful, and deeply human. Expect moments of absurdity, humor, connection and everything in between.
This marks Milord’s first Winnipeg creating since 2024 and a very exciting reunion for these artists.

Join Netsanet for one of two summer basket weaving workshops. This beginner-friendly session introduces participants to traditional Ethiopian basket weaving techniques.
The second workshop will be an Ethiopian Coiling Techniques workshop and will take place on August 15, from 3:00–4:30 PM at the Community Canopy.
